HOW DOES A WIND METER WORK?  (AKA ANEMOMETER)

Determining wind conditions is very important to the sport of kiteboarding, snow kiting, and land kiting.

A wind meter is a great tool for two reasons.   First,  you have an accurate reading right were you are at and you can test for changing conditions.  Second, it will help to train you to accurately determine wind conditions by feel.

The average rider will need a minimum of 12 miles per hour or 10 knots to ride.
